I had made an online transaction for 1 $ today morning(8th November, 2013) around 10:13 am. After entering the account details it took me to another page asking me to buy some product, I was not interested and I clicked on 'No thanks' but it deducted 159 $ from my account without any confirmation. I was using citi bank credit card and it was not asking for Secure 3D verification password anytime during the transaction. This is a mandatory password for any transaction to be complete and to my surprise this detail was not asked. But the actual invoice from the site showed 0$ transaction .(please find attached image)
I called up the bank to request for stop payment. I was told there was no such option for online transaction.

I had similar situation. I too, made an online transaction for 1 $ today afternoon (11th November, 2013) around 1.00pm. After entering the account details it took me to another page asking me to buy some product, I was not interested and I clicked on 'No thanks' but it deducted 159 $ from my account without any confirmation. I was using HSBC bank credit card and it was not asking for Secure 3D verification password anytime during the transaction. This is a mandatory password for any transaction to be complete and to my surprise this detail was not asked. But the actual invoice from the site showed 0$ transaction.
I called up the bank to request for stop payment. I was told there was no such option for online transaction. In dilemma that I will be charged for this payment
