- Fraudulent Transaction in Credit Card

With reference to the above, I was surfing in net for online purchases on 6th March 2018 and I visited just I selected one item from the site and tried to check price for that product it suggested to update the credit card details Credit Card no: 5241 7800 0323 9337 which i updated. But I couldn’t able to find the price instead I received a message from the Axis Bank whether to honor this purchase or not for the below mentioned amount. I did not reply to that message, later after some time I received a call from the Axis bank to execute this transaction, I confirmed keeping in a mind that I am disagreeing/cancelling the transaction, but unfortunately later as usual I received a credit card payment instruction from the bank with an additional amount of Rs. 14398.36 debited in foreign currency from my credit card to be paid for which I have not made valid transaction. Even I did not receive OTP or I did not update password for the purchase.

So I was in confusion how to handle this fraudulent transaction and on 2nd April 2018, I have called Axis bank toll free number and blocked my credit card and gave online complaint against this transaction and received complaint no 40939053 on 25th April 2018.

But Axis bank is insisting for me to lodge a complaint at Police station.

So Kindly take a complaint against my request and recover the money back
