HI,
IT HAPPENS MANY TIMES THAT WE WITHDRAW MONEY FROM AXIS BANK'S ATM AND GOT SOME OF 500/1000RS FAKE NOTES.
I GOT 1000'S TEN NOTES IN WHICH ONE NOTE WAS FAKE.THAT MEANS 10%.
ALTHOUGH IT'S VERY EASY TO DETECT THE DUPLICACY OF FAKE CURRENCY,EVEN AXIS BANK DOING THIS MISTAKE.
ALTHOUGH IT WAS MY LOSS AND I WON'T GET MONEY BACK,BUT ATLEAST BANKERS SHOULD REALIASE THAT ULTIMATLY IT'S "COUNTRY'S LOSS ", AND THEY ARE HELPING IN THIS LOSS.
WHAT I CAN DO IS JUST RAISING THIS COMPLAIN.
I REQUEST TO HIGHER AUTHORITIES TO PAY ATTENTION HERE PLEASE.
BECAUSE ITS NOT ABOUT ME, ITS ABOUT OUR COUNTRY.

I have used Axis ATM @ Rajkot Branch / Kalavad Road, Near KKV hall/28101 on 28/10/2011.Morning app 10.35am using my Axis Bank Debit Card for Rs 9000/-.The ATM is dispense 17 notes as each Rs. 500, and 5 notes as each Rs. 100 in that one note of Rs. 500 was fake. It was noticed after around 1hr during deposit in my PPF account in SBI branch of Yagnik Road Rajkot. After noticed cashier of SBI bank has keep with him for destruction and asked another extra note for payment. I was unable to complaint because it was noticed in SBI and they have refused to return that fake note for complaint. Also they told me that few minutes before it was observed from another customer who has withdrawn from axis bank ATM. Kindly investigate the matter.
Pls advice me for further steps.

Sub [Received Fake Note From SBM ATM].
I have used SBM ATM @ Thanisandra Branch on 03/01/2011.Evening app 5.35pm using my CANARA Bank Debit Card for Rs 400/-.The ATM is dispense 4 notes as each 100, in that one note was fake. After I noticed
I called to Police control room 100 for further assistance, they told me to log the compliant. I have given in writing
With all the details, & Enclose Fake note / ATM Advice Slip. To the Hennur police station Inspector Mr.Hanumantharaya. But I don’t get any aclodgement for my compliant. He asks me to meet on next day afternoon. We meet but he say’s my written compliant / fake note & Atm Advice Slip will be send to C.O.D from there will receive the aclodgement after 8 – 12 day’s. The Fake note no is 7NR 48J383. The Other Original Notes no as,
2PD J295J7 / 5HQ 32243J / 5SR 4575J8. Kindly investigate the matter.
Kindly advice me I need to get the aclodgement from Hennur Police station for my compliant “or†I need to
Wait till I get from C.O.D. “or†I need to contact any higher officer related to this matter. & can I use other original Notes? Pls advice me for further steps.

I received a fake currency note worth Rs,1000, from the Axis Bank ATM at the Axis Bank branch , hillcart rd. near hotel heritage, Siliguri.I lodged a complaint to the bank . They didn't' exchange the note. I'm approaching the higher authority.
