DTDC Courier - DTDC: Parcel lost and company not taking responsibility

I sent a courier on 16th Aug 2010 via Pune office of DTDC.

Tracking number is: P13351297. Parcel had rakhis worth 240/- and also 500/- cash. Even after 15 days, it has not been delivered. The status says that "No such person".

However, the cell number of recipient and my number as well was mentioned on the courier but neither I and not the recipient received any call from DTDC guys.

DTDC has simply declined to get it back to me.

I spoke to DTDC agent and he sounds dumb and not willing to update on the current status.

DTDC headoffice is not responding either. The other 2 parcels with only documents got delivered successfully but the one with Rakhis and Cash was only not delivered. I definitely suspect the DTDC courier.
