On 19-8-2009, I recd three cheques for Rs.1330,2644 and 2910 for which there was shortage of amount in my account. On receipt of this information, I have paid Rs.3200 and there is balance available in my account.
But subsequently I noticed that two cheques for Rs.1330 and 2644 returned as INSUFFICIENT FUNDS.
I herewith enclose the statement taken that you have returned cheques after my payment. When you debited my account, there is sufficient credit available in my account. I want to know why you have returned and debited my account when I am having sufficient credit balance in my account while you returned the cheque.
I hereby request you not to debit any cheque returned charges.
I suffered mental agony and torture due to your above indeficiency of services and I request you to send me Rs.25000 as compensation for the above .
I suffered bad name and my reputation also spoiled due to your negligence and indeficiency of banking services.
I want your explanation in this regard and compensation within a week of this receipt of this letter failing which I have no other option except to proceed further in this regard in consumer court. This is the second time happened in my account.
