SUBJECT: CHEATING BY AUTHORISED DEALER OF HERO CYCLE DURING PURCHASE OF MODEL (NEXT- SPRINT 26 O) PURCHASED ON 10/07/13 UNDER BILL NO.22/1569 FROM SARNA& COMPANY, SHOP NO 107,LAL IMLI ROAD,KANPUR.(UP)
1. It is to bring to your notice that, I have been cheated during purchase of a cycle model Next- Sprint 26 Oof Hero Company from SARNA & COMPANY ,Shop no. 107 located at Lal Imli Road, Kanpur on 10/07/13. The owner Mr Inderjeet Singh demanded Rs. 7500/- for the aforementioned brand (Photo copy of the Bill enclosed) and over and above this I was also asked to pay Rs. 200/- (to Shri Ashok- the worker in the shop, Mobile No - ********53) extra for preparing the cycle for delivery and Rs. 200/- for transporting it to my home located at Armapore Estate, Kanpur. In total I was asked to pay Rs.7900/- (Rs.7500 + Rs. 200 +Rs.200).
2. Recently on surveying the market I learnt that this cycle is actually for Rs. 5200/- (Photo copies of quotation enclosed) and the additional amount that I had paid is pure cheating and totally unjustified. The after sale service is also very poor and project a very sorry state of affair.
3. Once after 15 days of purchase, when I had sent my cycle to the shop for some minor problem (tightening of screws) he asked me to leave the cycle at his shop for a day which I unwillingly agreed to. He also told me that it’s the first and last free service and after this I am required to pay for the services. The overall credibility of your authorized dealer seems to be very low and tarnish your image in the business market, many I request you to do the needful on priority else I will be forced to seek legal assistance form court of law.
