Complaint by: Mahesh on June 26, 2010, 11:31 pm in Cars Parts and Vehicles

On 25th of June 2010 (Friday), I went to the Yamaha Factory Shop (YFS) located at 15A, Mumbai-Pune Highway, Wakdewadi, Shivaji Nagar, Pune-411003, Phone:020-40079136/137.
I wanted 2 get performa/quotation of Yamaha FZ-S.
In the showroom nobody came to attend me, so I asked a young man..may be a salesperson..he gave me the performa/quotation. I asked him about finance scheme..so he told me about finance also. He was in little hurry..may be his duty was getting over or something..(I went there around at 3.00pm)..I wanted to know the details of Yamaha FZ-S...I mean, bike\'s features..performance..and all other specialities of Yamaha FZ-S. But all salespersons were busy..I noticed that hardly any customer was there at that time. Then why they neglected me? I know it sounds egoistic..but I\'m not that kind of person. Just imagine yourself in my place..my wife was also with me..the person who gave us performa/quotation, my wife asked him about test-ride of Yamaha FZ-S. He said there is no bike for test-ride available at that moment. But while entering to the showroom I saw there were three test-ride bikes parked out side the main entrance..and a customer was taking a test-ride. My wife asked the same salesman a pamphlet/brochure of Yamaha FZ-S..but he said that pamphlet/brochure is also not available. In the showroom there were two/three Yamaha FZ-S exhibited. Anxiously in excitement I went to a bike and I sat on bike\'s front seat. In the next moment, the person who gave me performa/quotation, said, \"Baithna nahi..\"(\"Don\'t seat..\") I said sorry to him and got down. Then I left the showroom..but felt bad about it. My wife told me to ignore all that..so I\'m almost normal now..but now I\'m confused about buying Yamaha\'s any bike..!!!

yamaha is a good brand but in pune the services given by yamaha persons are very very pour.yamaha will have to definitly take some major steps against all this.I have Yamaha Fazer the bike is too good but i purchased it from J William Motors i.e an authorized Yamaha dealer from there side the service quality is tooo low.i have registred a complain also but yamaha people are always in hurry to cancel my complain in place of sortting it out.

Absolutely agree with you on that! actually, these people are company employees who work on fixed salaries, so they dont care about the customers. I also went to them to ask about the R15 and they behaved as though they were doing a favour to me just by even talking to me!

I also had the exact same experience, that though there are hardly any customers around, nobody comes to tend to you or ask what you need. The response at the dealerships, like at YAMAHA RIDERS and MONARCH YAMAHA was far better!

The Facory Shop guys also seem to be disorganised and never have the correct info or details about anything. Later, i went to purchase a helmet from them and they took half an hour to get the change cash!! alas they had already made the bill so i cudnt smack them in the face and leave :X...

I got same treatment when I had there first time as well as the time of delivery. They simply don't care the customers. I suggested my friend not to go with this showroom and get bike from "YAMAHA point" which is just before this showroom next to indian oil petrol pump. "YAMAHA point" have a value of customer

I support this complaint. The attendants were too busy to tell anything and they were behaving as if they will do a favour to us if we buy bike from thr showroom. Pathetic showroom n service. They should shut down. N if they continue like this they will. Amen

I support this complaint. i mean I don't know whether what you are saying is completely true or not, but if its trye then ,, i guess U shud go to consumer court.. such people shud be screwed and their licence should be canceled. and such salemen should be blacklisted so that they don't get any job anywhere.. they don;t deserve it.. I know the gr8 country wat stupid india is and the pathetic government & stupid rules & laws.. we won't get anything by going to cour. its like tareek pe taareek tareek pe taareekk etc

I not only support this complaint but would like to to inform all buyers that customer care service at yamamha is even worse and believe me you won't be able to get spares for your bike. so beware of yamaha bikes. it will be a very bad decision. this company is operating in india just to sell bikes and fleece indians and not to prvide better customer feel as they provide in western countries. stick to honda.
