Airtel sent me a broadband bill AFTER DISCONNECTING the broadband line on July 1, and taking away all the equipments the same day!
I received bill of Rs1322 which i refused to pay since i was NOT EVEN PRESENT at those premises after July 1, and there was no Airtel connection either!
16503655 - account id
080-40959541 -- My old landline number
Rs1322 - Amt in question
10538708 - Complaint number
Payment receipt Number - 34-19751536
I had sent an email to their legal team on Nov 28, and was promised a resolution by Dec1, but never got any replies; rather they filed a court in Delhi court, and today i got a call - but not from Airtel, rather SO-CALLED Delhi local court stating that I need to settle the amount immediately or I'll be liable for legal prosecution.
I'm the MD of a Pvt Ltd, and i was shocked to get a call from Delhi court for Rs1322 claimed by Airtel, and had to make a payment (disturbing my busy schedule, canceling important meetings & appointments because I was mentally disturbed by this non-sense).
And, guess what it looks like Airtel has hired a private agency for bill recovery -
See this - http://whocallsme.com/Phone-Number.aspx/01132091079/4#p343054224797497449
I'm going to teach you a lesson, and lodge a police complaint against those numbers, a counter case against them as well as Airtel, few fresh cases in consumer court, and claim for mental harassment, wastage of my time, phone bills, petrol, and everything!
AIRTEL you've messed with the wrong person - I've heard about such cases in past, and I guess just because nobody had taken a serious counter action, you've not learned from your mistakes, and you're harassing your valued customers (though you don't understand the meaning of value!)
I'm going to ask ALL my employees, friends, relatives, and acquaintances to cancel ALL Airtel connections - I'll definitely make you lose more than 1lakh/month (much more in the longer run, coz' I know at least 1000+ airtel users which spend Rs1000-2000/month and i'll make sure min 80% of them cancel their connection within a month) business from February!
Oh yeah and by the way I had applied for a dedicated internet lease line, paid Rs25k advance, and waited for 145 days to get refund - I'm going to claim FD interest for that amount too! AIRTEL you're going to pay for messing with me! I've already THROWN all my airtel numbers, and asked my employees to port to Vodafone TODAY! (we had corporate plans!)
My friend is also facing a similar issue and she has received a WRONG bill of Rs4k instead of reg broadband bill of just R1300+, and instead of accepting their fault, Airtel has issued a legal notice, and threatened to take legal action. (I'll include details in a separate complaint within next 24hours!)
And, I swear I'm NOT going to leave my Rs.1322 - I had to just UNNECESSARILY PAY it under the legal force coz' I couldn't afford my rapport to be affected due to a STUPID tech glitch!
I'll combine all complaints and launch a MASTER COMPLAINT against Airtel - you can't get away eating others money! I'll launch a country-wide protest against your company, and ensure that you lose considerable volume of business over next few months - that's my promise!!! Just start counting the number of mobile, and broadband disconnections from tomorrow - I'll ask everyone to quote my reference number in their disconnection request so that you know that I'm ACTUALLY making you PAY for your blunder!
I need written apology in this regard, and full compensation! (Anyway, I'm going to file a case of min Rs100000 against the company for mental harassment, lawyer consultant, petrol chargers, mobile bills, and make you pay for it LEGALLY!)
I want anybody from legal department (who is RESPONSIBLE for taking legal actions and NOT for wasting my time), or Karnataka head to contact me in this regard!
